Chinese New Year Parade

How fun it was to celebrate THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON.  Each year the kindergarten classes at our school celebrate Chinese New Year with a parade though our school.  All of  the other classes sit in the hallways outside of their rooms to view the parade.  

Here comes the dragon!!!

Prior to the parade, we made banners, lanterns, and masks.  We carried some of those items with us in the parade.  Mr. Cook, our music teacher, is always so kind to let borrow the musical instruments to use in the parade.  There is lots of noise, bright colors, and most of all alot of fun on parade day!!
